What to Put on a Wedding Website
A short checklist: names, schedule, map, RSVP, dress, and the functions that make an Indian wedding more than one day.
A wedding website needs the couple’s names, every function with a time and place, a map, an RSVP, and a short note on what to wear. Anything else is optional.
The checklist
- Names The couple, and the families if you want elders to see themselves on the card.
- Schedule Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet, ceremony, and reception, each with a time.
- Map One pin per venue. Out-of-town guests should not need a voice note to find the gate.
- RSVP Yes or no, how many people, and a note. You should see the list without calling anyone.
- Dress and travel A line on colours, and hotel or airport notes if people are coming from another city.
- The link The same WhatsApp link is the invitation and the website. Guests do not get a PDF plus a separate site.

Is a wedding website different from an e-invite?
The search is different, but your guests only need one link. The invitation opens into the page with RSVP, the map, and the schedule.
What if we only have one ceremony?
Still include the time, the map, and the RSVP. Extra functions are for weddings that have them.
