E-Invite vs Video Invite: Which Should You Send?
A video is a file guests must download. An e-invite is a page they open, with music, a map, and RSVP.
Send an e-invite when you want guests to open one link, see the details, and reply. Send a video only if you want a film and you are happy to chase RSVPs separately.
What each one does
- Video invite A file in the chat. It plays once. Changing the venue means sending a new file. RSVP is still a reply in the chat.
- E-invite A page. Music starts when the guest taps. The map, schedule, and RSVP stay on that page. You edit it in one place.
- Paper card A keepsake for elders. It does not update, and it does not tell you who is coming.
Many couples still make a short film for Instagram. That film is not the invitation. The invitation is the link you need people to act on.

Can the e-invite still have music?
Yes. The guest taps to play music. Phones block sound that starts by itself, so the page should show a clear play control.
Will WhatsApp preview the link?
Yes, if the page has its own title and image. That is why each public page needs real HTML, not an empty app shell.
